This Easter we woke up before the sun with our toddler (as we do every day) and ran downstairs to see what the Easter bunny dropped off. It's so exciting how as he grows he really gets into these things. And so do I. I want him to always remember how warm and magical the holidays were growing up. We ate homemade blueberry bread for breakfast and Luca and I went outside to fill the bird feeder and say our morning prayers while watching the sun rise. It was a beautiful day despite it being just the 3 of us. Luca and his dad took a wak to the ocean as I prepared our Easter dinner. We filled up with pineapple ham, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, butter biscuits, Easter punch, and double chocolate chip cookies. It was a slow and sunny day filled with the people that mean the most. Filled with love, laughter, and happiness. Our house may have been emptier than usual, but our hearts were just as full 💛🐣🐰
