Home Tour, 1000 sq ft

I know I've said it before, our house is small. Tiny houses are trending these days for a slew of reasons and I'll tell you why I love ours. Cheap bills is a major one! I'm in nursing school and we have a growing family so anywhere we can save we will. Heating a 1000 sq ft home with hot water heat is dirt cheap. I also love how it forces us to be close, we aren't losing track of anyone in our 9x9 living room! Yep, you read it right, that's the dimensions of our living room. Being in a home this small also really keeps us being intentional on what comes in and what stays in. I'm constantly purging and we only keep what we need. You won't find clutter or an over abundance of toys here, which we all find so freeing. I could really go on but let's just get into the house tour 😄

The first room is the sunroom, its breezy and sunny and it's a great spot to watch the sunset at night.

Walking through the downstairs is completely open concept. You'll find our dining room, living room, and kitchen all forming one L shape.

We have one small bathroom but it makes up for its size with closet space ☺

And we have 3 bedrooms. One guest room downstairs and our bedroom and Luca's bedroom is upstairs. His room is completely unfinished because we all sleep together, so I will not be adding a photo of his room. The first image is our guest room with a tiny visitor 😏 and where our guests get the perfect view of the sunrise. And the last image is our master.

I hope you enjoyed our home tour. We have some updated to come like a some new light fixtures and a dining set so stay tuned! Do you live in a small home?
